Essential information

This activity has been designed to allow walkers with varying levels of fitness to enjoy a mountain wilderness experience.

The mountains can be hazardous.
Rain is likely and can be prolonged.
The sun can be intense.
Rivers can run high and make travel slow and difficult.
These hazards and discomforts will be part of the experience.

To enjoy this walk you must want to enjoy it - the pleasure of the mountains will far exceed the effort and discomforts.
This walk will be an achievement that you will talk about for years to come.

Preparation is the key to enjoyment.
Light packs, appropriate clothing, short distances, good leadership.
